Ngāti Manawa Charitable Trust Festival Day
Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Manawa Charitable Trust held its festival day at Murupara Rugby & Sports Club. The festival was a fun-filled day with various activities and entertainment for young and old.
The festival highlight was the marae pa war games between the Painoaiho, Rangitahi, Tipapa, and Moewhare teams. The winners were awarded certificates and trophies. The festival was an excellent way to bring the community together and celebrate.
There were also kaumatua noodles, hockey, and soccer, which were full of laughter and enjoyment for all.
The community had a blast participating in these games, and the energy and teamwork displayed was truly inspiring.
A big thank you to the Charitable Trust trustee and the steering committee for organising the day. With a very small window to get things rolling, it was a great success.
